Polyethersulfone (PES)

Polyethersulfone (PES) ImagePES is an engineering thermoplastic which possesses excellent high temperature performance, mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and has inherent flame retardant properties. While PES has outstanding strength properties, what is more significant is that there are no significant losses in physical properties at sustained higher temperatures, at approximately 400˚F. PES also possesses good resistance to X Ray, Gamma Ray and Beta Ray and is commonly used in the Medical and Life Science Industry, as well as in others demanding applications that require high temperature performance, such as in the Automotive and Aerospace Industry.
