PC/ABS combines two engineering materials, Polycarbonate and ABS, to form one compounded resin with extreme versatility. The properties in Polycarbonate, which provide high heat resistance, strong impact strength, and excellent tensile properties, combined with ABS, which provides low temperature impact strength and improved processing, married together form an excellent, balanced material. PC/ABS products are commonly seen in Automotive, Electrical, Appliance, Medical, and IT markets. PC/ABS is commonly General Purpose or Flame Retardant grades, and those Flame Retardant grades are typically Halogen Free.
