ABS

ABS Image ABS is an engineering resin produced by the polymerization of 3 key ingredients; Acrylonitrile, Butadiene and Styrene. The combination of these three monomers manage to create a highly unique and versatile copolymer, Acrylonitrile adds rigidity and chemical resistance; Butadiene adds flexibility and impact resistance; and Styrene adds gloss and stiffness. ABS is used in a variety of applications across all industries, including Automotive, Consumer Goods, Housing, Home Appliance, Office Equipment and Personal Electronics. Specialized ABS grades can be produced by altering the content and combination of the three main ingredients, allowing the production of grades with specific features such as High Flow, High Heat Resistance, Flame Retardant, High Impact and Clarified ABS, to be used in the Injection Molding, Extrusion and Blow Molding process.
