Polypropylene (PP) ImagePolypropylene is a thermoplastic in the polyolefin family. Polypropylene comes in numerous variations and appearances, namely, Homopolymer PP, Random Copolymer PP (improved clarity), and Block Copolymer PP (better impact). Polypropylene can also be easily manufactured with different additives and materials to create compounded variations of PP to better suit specific applications. Uses for Polypropylene are numerous, but commonly found in everyday items such as Food Containers, Housewares, Bottles and Furniture.
