Polycarbonate is an engineering plastic which possesses excellent impact strength properties, creep resistance, heat resistance, inherent flame retardant and dimensional stability. Polycarbonate comes primarily as transparent, and has very good light transmission, haze and optical properties. Its heat resistance, strength and clarity have made Polycarbonate the perfect material for a wide variety of uses across all industries, found in finished goods such as CD/DVD’s, water bottles, lighting, medical, motorcycle face shields, eyewear, and in numerous automotive applications. Polycarbonate is commonly compounded with additives to improve weatherability, and can be used in Injection Molding, Extrusion and Blow Molding processes
