ACETAL (POM)
Acetal is an engineering resin which provides superior fatigue resistance, creep resistance, dimensional stability, stiffness and water resistance. It is amongst the strongest and stiffest thermoplastics on the market today, and combined with its superior friction properties, is ideal for applications where there is abrasion and friction. Due to these properties, Acetal is commonly used in high friction wear applications, such as gears, rollers, buckles and switches. Specialized Acetal grades can be provided, including Glass Fiber Reinforced, filled PTFE and Silicone, Impact Modified, Carbon Filled and Weather Resistant grades.
